The Alarm is not functioning

To troubleshoot this issue, please use the following methods:
  1. Check the Service Tool 'Alarm Options' on the System Settings 1 tab. Ensure that the start and stop warning alarm is set to ENABLE according to your specifications.
  2. Check connections from the main wiring harness to the alarm. Ensure the white wire goes to the '+' on the alarm, while the black wire goes to the other terminal.
  3. Using a multi-meter, check the voltage on the alarm when the start/stop counter is on the screen. This should read the battery voltage.
  4. Remove the alarm and apply the battery voltage to the terminals. If the alarm does not sound, it is defective and needs to be replaced (the alarm volume can be adjusted by turning the top of the alarm).
